AISI Column in Steel Market Update

Today, AISI President and CEO, Kevin Dempsey published a new column in Steel Market Update titled, “America’s Trade Laws Must Be Upgraded to Address China’s Belt and Road Initiative.” Dempsey writes how the American steel industry continues to face serious threats from subsidized and dumped imports resulting from China’s launch of the Belt and Road initiative in 2013, and particularly the steel industry expansion of Chinese-owned production into Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries.
