Letter of Permission  | Color Mapping (Steel Logo)

Steel cans, appliances and numerous other products prominently feature the Steel Recycling Logo. The guidelines for use of the Steel Recycling Logo are included in the letter of permission. This logo is trademarked by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). It conveys to consumers that the manufacturer made a conscious decision to use a quality material that is both recyclable and has recycled content. To use the logo, manufacturers must provide AISI with information on product lines and implementation dates.
