“In a letter to House members on Wednesday, AISI President and CEO Kevin Dempsey said the bill would ‘strengthen the U.S. trade remedy laws by enhancing the tools available to obtain timely relief against repeat offenders and by addressing the growing problem of cross-border subsidization, such as China’s Belt and Road Initiative that subsidizes steel capacity and production beyond its borders.’”
