SSAB Alabama Opens QL6 Blast & Paint Line

AISI member company, SSAB Alabama celebrated a milestone on May 22, when the QL6 Blast & Paint Line held its official grand opening and ribbon cutting on site.

General Manager Andy Bramstedt welcomed a group of local elected officials and Mobile Chamber executives to the event, and provided an overview of the project and its long-term benefit for SSAB and employees. Also participating in the event was SSAB Special Steels President Johnny Sjöström, Mobile County Commission President Connie Hudson, City of Mobile, AL Mayor Sandy Stimpson and Mobile Chamber President Bradley Byrne.
