Steel Comment Of The Week

"Ohio manufacturers, including the steel industry, produce many of the finest products in the world.  Our workers and companies can thrive in a global economy when competing on a level playing field.  We must aggressively pursue and punish those who violate U.S. and international trade laws. With a recent report showing U.S. manufacturing shrinking for the second consecutive month, Washington should be doing everything in its power to ensure that Ohio manufacturers are competing on an equal footing with their overseas competitors."

Steel Comment of the Week, by Senator Rob Portman (OH-R), who initiated the first-ever legal case to be litigated and won against China before the World Trade Organization because of China’s unfair treatment of U.S.-made auto parts.
