Guillermo Vogel

GUILLERMO VOGEL, Vice Chairman, Tenaris Tamsa

Guillermo Vogel is the Vice Chairman of the Board for Tenaris. He joined Tamsa in 1983 as Administrative and Financial Director and was named Tamsa’s Deputy General Manager. In 1987, he became the Executive Vice President and was promoted to Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in 1997. Vogel is also Vice President, Finance for Tenaris.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Grupo Collado S.A.B. de C.V., Vice Chairman of Estilo y Vanidad S.A. de C.V., and a member of the Board of Directors of Alfa S.A.B. de C.V. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and of the Investment Committee of the Corporacion Mexicana de Inversiones de Capital and a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of HSBC (Mexico).

Vogel currently serves as a director for the American Iron and Steel Institute. He also served as a former Vice Chairman and Chairman of its North American Steel Council. He is a current member of the North American Competitiveness Council, the Worldsteel Association, and ILAFA. Vogel received a B.A. from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
