&lt;p&gt;In the week ending&amp;#160;&lt;strong&gt;November 15, 2008&lt;/strong&gt;, domestic 
raw steel production was 1,400,000 net tons while the capability 
utilization rate was&amp;#160;58.7&amp;#160;percent. Production was 2,110,000 
tons in the week ending&amp;#160;November 15,&amp;#160;2007, while the 
capability utilization then was&amp;#160;88.5 percent. The current week 
production represents a&amp;#160;33.7 percent&amp;#160;decrease&amp;#160;from the 
same period in the previous year. Production for the week 
ending&amp;#160;November 15, 2008 is&amp;#160;down&amp;#160;10.1 percent from the 
previous week ending&amp;#160;November&amp;#160;8, 2008 when production was 
1,556,000 tons and the rate of capability utilization was&amp;#160;65.2 
percent.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Adjusted year-to-date production through&amp;#160;November 15, 
2008&amp;#160;was&amp;#160;93,402,000 tons, at a capability utilization rate 
of&amp;#160;85.6 percent. That is&amp;#160;a&amp;#160;1.4 percent&amp;#160;decrease from 


the 94,680,000 tons during the same period last year, when the 
capability utilization rate was&amp;#160;86.6 percent.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Broken down by districts, here's production for the week

represents a&amp;#160;26.3 percent&amp;#160;decrease&amp;#160;from the same period 
in the previous year. Production for the week ending&amp;#160;November 8, 
2008 is&amp;#160;down&amp;#160;3.1 percent from the previous week 
ending&amp;#160;November 1, 2008 when production was 1,605,000 tons and the 
rate of capability utilization was&amp;#160;67.3 percent.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Adjusted year-to-date production through&amp;#160;November 8, 
2008&amp;#160;was&amp;#160;92,002,000 tons, at a capability utilization rate 
of&amp;#160;86.2 percent. That is&amp;#160;a&amp;#160;0.7 percent&amp;#160;decrease from 


the 92,570,000 tons during the same period last year, when the 
capability utilization rate was&amp;#160;86.6 percent.&lt;/p&gt;

ending&amp;#160;October 25, 2008 when production was 1,680,000 tons and the 
rate of capability utilization was&amp;#160;70.4 percent.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Adjusted year-to-date production through&amp;#160;November 1, 
2008&amp;#160;was&amp;#160;90,446,000 tons, at a capability utilization rate 
of&amp;#160;86.7 percent. That is&amp;#160;a&amp;#160;0.1 percent&amp;#160;increase from

ending&amp;#160;October 18, 2008 when production was 1,744,000 tons and the 
rate of capability utilization was&amp;#160;73.1 percent.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Adjusted year-to-date production through&amp;#160;October 25, 
2008&amp;#160;was&amp;#160;88,841,000 tons, at a capability utilization rate
