ArcelorMittal’s Ruhrort Rod Mill To Start Up In 2011/12 08/31/2010- The new wire rod mill planned by ArcelorMittal at its Duisburg-Ruhrort site in Germany is scheduled to be fully installed by the end of 2011, Steel Business Briefing learns from a company spokesman. SMS Meer was contracted to supply the mill’s equipment over two years ago, but the project was then suspended because of the global economic downturn. ArcelorMittal announced it was reviving the project in February this year. |
